Dark Matter

I’ve been meaning to pick this best seller up for awhile now, and I’m really glad I did. What happens when a physics professor is suddenly kidnapped and forced to time travel to a world where he is an award-winning scientist? And how does he get back to his world and the family he loves? Follow along in this fast paced, edge of your seat thriller.
What I enjoyed about this book is that within the first few chapters we are thrown into the maddening world of theoretical sciences and the idea of multiple universes. I thought that this book was complex. It has a great over arching storyline that keeps you anticipating what’s around the corner; and the explanation of the science is well written and not too overbearing. For me it was the perfect balance between action, science, and awe. I couldn’t help but constantly think about being in the same situation of trying to wade through an infinite choice of worlds where every decision in life splits itself into different universes. Mind boggling!
I highly suggest this book to anyone who dabbles in the ideas of dark matter and multiverses. This was on par with my love for Timeline by Michael Creighton, so I would recommend it if you like his books too.

The Schrodinger’s Pizza – It IS and IS NOT in the closed pizza box at the same time. But if you open it, only one of those is now true.
